Research Summary

My research is concentrated on climate and climate change and its impacts on different sectors, mainly Agriculture and Water Resources in addition to Environment, to construct adaptation strategies. I am using the Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) model in different applications to validate its output through comparisons with observations.

I believe that renewable energy is very promising sector as a main source for clean energy , so I’m working right now to establish short to medium range solar radiation and wind energy forecasting system based on Numerical Weather Prediction (NWP) i.e. Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) model in addition to statistical models based on climatological data
