The mission of the Department of Mathematics at 91制品厂兔子先生视频官网 provides an environment of learning that fosters competency, growth, and appreciation of mathematics in diverse fields such as engineering, architecture, and business. Mathematics majors acquire essential knowledge for successful graduate study, research, and concentration in specific areas of the discipline.
The Department of Mathematics is committed to developing in each student the understanding of mathematical concepts necessary for participation in today's highly technical society. It further seeks to prepare the student for the application of mathematics in his chosen career field.
The Department of Mathematics offers a curriculum which leads to the degree of Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics. The objective of this curriculum is to prepare students for graduate studies in Mathematics, Computer Science and related fields, and for a career in government, industry or teaching. In the mathematics curriculum, students are required to take thirty-two hours of mathematics exclusive of the general education mathematics requirements. A minimum grade of "C" is required in each of these mathematics courses. Electives could include courses in computer science, statistics, and applied mathematics. (All electives must be approved by the department.) Mathematics majors are strongly encouraged to take courses in physics as part or all of the natural science requirement.

Located within the College of Arts and Sciences, the Department of Mathematics offers a program of study leading to the Bachelor of Science degree with a major in mathematics. Through rigor, challenge and interaction, the department equips the student with an in-depth understanding of the principles of calculus and its application and knowledge of mathematics in the fields of linear algebra, abstract algebra, differential equations, probability and statistics, modern geometry, and real and complex analysis. Students develop the ability to think critically, construct mathematical proofs, and communicate mathematics in written and oral forms.聽
